Revelation 14:13 says “Then I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on, Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them” See that it says a voice from heaven, so not man who tells us this but the heavenly voice, and we who have believed, and die in Christ know this, that we enter into the rest of the LORD God, Most High, seeing as some, indeed many have not entered into this rest, as it is written “....they shall not enter My rest (Psalm 95:11)” Therefore let us rejoice and be glad for our brother who is departed from us in Christ, for “We are confident , yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8)” and again we know that for us “to live is Christ and to die is again”. Therefore let us be comforted with these words as it is written “ Therefore comfort one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:18) “ that “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD” HalleluYAH.
